Structural Correction

A common problem for people these days is our unnatural habit of sitting down all day.  It does a number on our spines — not to mention our posture! We’re glued to our cell phones, iPads and laptops.  Far too many live their lives hunched over and with forward head posture, and studies prove that for every inch your head sticks out from a true center of gravity, your neck bears an extra 10 pounds of stress.

At our clinic, Dr. Alex focuses on correcting the structure of your spine in order to help fix the cause of your pain.  Based on patients’ x-rays they perform specific exercises and traction to retrain the structure of their spine.  This method provides tremendous results for our patients!

From the front, your spine should be straight up and down.  From the side, you should have three 45 degree curves in your neck, mid back and low back with your ears in line with your shoulders and hips.  In the proper position, the weight of the body is on the joints rather than the discs and nerves.

Correcting the curvature of your spine not only helps relieve pain but it allows the brain to get signals through the body to function properly.   Many people are surprised when they came in because of neck and back pain and discover after treatment other health issues improve or go away.
